CanaCaribe youth programme supported by CYP
April 3Message from CariMentors:
The CariMentors Team launched the CanaCaribe initiative in St. Kitts and Nevis, September 2011, supported and sponsored by the Commonwealth Youth Programme Caribbean Centre.
CanaCaribe is a biennial Youth-led “Respect and Understanding” programme with focus on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.
It is understood that CanaCaribe is the first of its kind in this region and we want you to share in this success.
CariMentors span from countries such as: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis and Canada so we invite you to get involved.
It is evident, that we refuse to allow crime and violence to dictate our standard of living and thus the youths who statistically are the major perpetrators and victims of crime must start the change.
The Caribbean is the jewel of the world and we want to highlight the positive activities in your country. This publication is free to you and will be seen around the world. ACT NOW!
Please see attached and circulate throughout your networks. Send submissions to this address (carimentors@gmail.com) or our CanaCaribe 2011 facebook page before the deadline.
