Is Green Ghana Day enough to save the environment? (+ Video)

June 7 is Green Ghana Day, an initiative that takes place annually, two days after World Environment Day.

Commonwealth Correspondent Ewura Adwoa Larbi believes that given the current Climate Crisis, planting trees is one of the best time capsules for progeny.

She is however concerned because in Ghana, in the face of an unprecedented spike in illegal mining activities,  the lands and waters are being destroyed.

She wonders if Green Ghana Day alone is enough to salvage our environment.
