“Integrating humanity and religion”

March 20th, 2018

Questions about faith and belief have Sarmad Shahbaz Bhutta, 19, a Correspondent in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, looking at the connection between humanity and religion.

What is the basic necessity of a human’s faith and belief? Ever wondered why are we in this world? What’s the cause of our birth?

Humanity is one of the most acceptable conditions in our society. Not only the most acceptable but also the most underestimated. People often help each other to get mental and hearty satisfaction.

On the other side of the story, religion is, in fact, a piece of thinking, a notion or belief system of a group of people who worships their Gods. There are many versions of religion, but despite this, in the whole world, the common aspect that unites all the religions is “humanity”. This is what all religions in the world have, whether it’s Islam, Christianity Hinduism, Buddhism or whatever it is. The basis of all the religions begins with the basic fact and elementary steps of humanity.

There’s a famous quote of humanitarian Abdul Sitar Eidhi Said, There’s no religion in the world higher than humanity.”

Nowadays, in the so-called modern world and with a global-hub of more than 20 major religions, humanity’s quality appears to be fading away. The fact that we don’t understand is that this world is just like an examination. You have to score as high a score as you can to go through the final day. We need to get rid of the fact we are living a life just like a robot. We are are getting conservative and narrow-minded regularly. We want to gain respect, cash, and power, but can we give a big no to God’s questioning about humanity? About helping people? We are running away from our originality, our freedom of speech. Actually, we are running away from our lives and our deaths.

The thing we should now accept is that we should live our religions as members of humanity. By helping people all around the globe. By removing poverty from this little house in the solar system. To engage the whole human race in loving and respecting each other. To minimise the mental suffering. We should work together in every perspective of life. To eliminate the racism in this world. Humanity will help us in each and every field. Not only in this world, but also in the hereafter. There’s a very deep saying that “Religion without humanity is a very poor human stuff.”

These few words sums the whole idea of the topic. If there’s religion without humanity, then the only aim is to pray in front of God. But by including humanity, we can not only implore the God, but also satisfy our heart and build the forts of love and respect in each one’s heart.
