About Us
The Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA) is a vibrant and inclusive regional platform addressing the unique needs of young people across eight Commonwealth Asian countries: Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Maldives, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Singapore. CAYA fosters youth integration, governance, representation, and advocacy while promoting regional cooperation for youth development and capacity building.
Launched during the 10th Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting and the Commonwealth Year of Youth, CAYA represents a transformative opportunity to establish a robust youth framework in Asia.
Vision
CAYA aims to provide a unified regional voice and representation as well as promote youth integration and cooperation among the eight Asian member countries of the Commonwealth, harnessing collaborative actions for youth governance, and strengthening partnerships across stakeholders and governments.
Objectives
The establishment of CAYA aims to:
